Earth Day Annual Clean-Up #2

In honor of Earth Day, April 22, 2025, Pick It Up returned to Fiesta Island in San Diego to walk, talk, and pick up trash. There wasn’t a lot of litter this year (which is a good thing!), and the City of San Diego's Parks and Recreation Department Employee who drove by let us know another group was out the day before collecting trash. He still thanked us for coming out, and as a group, we filled up one large trash bag. Pick It Up is thankful for everyone who came out and for their support. Every little bit helps…so the day was a success. And if there are any suggestions for a good clean-up spot next year, please let us know!
